The 2019-20 WHL season is underway and the Calgary Hitmen are off to an extremely hot start.

After dropping their season opener in overtime, the Hitmen have put together a four-game winning streak heading into Saturday’s contest against the Edmonton Oil Kings.

A majority of the teams in the WHL have already played at least six games, with some already as high as 8 or 9, but the Hitmen are one of two teams who have only played five. Since the guys have had a little more extra time compared to the rest of the league, they used some of that time to give sledge hockey a try.

This is just one of the many team bonding exercises the Hitmen have taken part in so far this year, with another one being combat archery.

It’s safe to say morale is at an all-time high in the Hitmen dressing room right now.
