During sporting events, it isn’t uncommon to see wedding proposals take place either on the playing surface during a break, or in the crowd that is featured up on the jumbotron. While those are always fun and exciting to watch, we may’ve found one of the most creative wedding proposals from a game you’ll ever come across.

On Saturday night in the Western Hockey League, a fan named Vince came up with a special way to ask the special question. The Calgary Hitmen host a special “Couple’s Challenge” that puts up a couple against each other with questions on their significant other.

On one of the questions, Vince told his girlfriend Charlene to turn around to this shot of the jumbotron.

Given that each jersey was from a sports team in Calgary with each jersey having its own number to spell out “2018,” we have to hand it to Vince here for his creativity.

Here’s the full segment from the proposal.

Congratulations to these two, and major props to Vince for putting this together.

Thank goodness she said “yes!”
