Even after a stellar performance in Week 4, Cam Newton wanted nothing to do with media members.

Newton had a huge game Sunday afternoon versus New England throwing for 316 yards and tossing three touchdowns, helping the Panthers take down the Patriots in Foxborough. Moments after leaving the field, Newton was filmed heading to the locker room by ESPN reporter Dianna Russini. Newton had one simple message for every reporter waiting to speak to him after the win: NOPE!

According to Newton, reporters were seemingly uninterested in speaking with him before the game, thus he wasn't interested in speaking to them after the game. No one has confirmed whether or not reporters actually did ignore Newton before the game, but perhaps if they did, it may have been due to his performance in Week 3 versus the Saints where he threw three interceptions and was sacked four times.

Who knows. But what we do know is that Cam stuck to his word!
