Pretty much all Canadian eyes are on the  Toronto Maple Leafs tonight.

The Buds have climbed their way back from a 3-1 deficit to even their series with the Boston Bruins at 3’s. After Boston defeated Toronto in an epic first round Game 7 in 2013, the two teams now find themselves in a similar position five years later.

The team has received an incredible amount of support from Ontario residents. An overwhelming amount of fans have showed up to Maple Leaf Square to support the organization, including a set of referees. One of the province's more notable faces showed his support in a unique way ahead of the elimination game. Sarnia native and NASA astronaut shared a video of himself from an old TSN broadcast from outer space.

The shirt was ironically worn ahead of the two teams’ 2013 date during Hadfield’s Soyuz TMA-07M reentry. In 2014, he had the honour of singing the Canadian national anthem ahead of a Leafs vs. Montreal Canadiens game on January 18, 2014 at the Air Canada Centre.

Hadfield is likely one of many Canadian celebrities cheering on their childhood team tonight. Time will tell if they can earn a date against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the second round.
