Vancouver product Brandon Clarke made history for the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Saturday night, setting a new record for the most points scored in an NCAA tournament game.

Clarke's 36 points help lead the Bulldogs to an 83-71 victory over Baylor in a second-round matchup in the West Region to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.

The junior transferred from San Jose State and made his presence known all night long, dunking all over Baylor.

Clarke, whose defensive prowess should raise his stock up the NBA draft boards, now as a nation-best 110 blocks on the season.

He's the first player in NCAA tournament history to record 35+ points and five blocks in a game since Shaq did it in the '92 tournament, joining him and David Robinson as the only three players to ever reach that feat.
