The Round of 64 in the NCAA women’s tournament drew to a close on Saturday, and Canadian Shay Colley got Michigan State into the next round with ice in her veins.

Colley, who played for the Canadian national team in last year’s FIBA World Cup and won a gold medal with the team in 2017’s AmeriCup event, blew by her defender and finished with an impressive double-clutch layup against help with just seconds remaining in the game for the 88-87 win.

And she made it look easy! The game-winner capped a solid 13-point game for Colley, who led Michigan State in scoring this year.

Colley’s bucket even had her Team Canada teammate and WNBAer Kia Nurse showing some love on Twitter.

Colley is one of two representatives from last year’s Canadian World Cup roster competing in the women’s tournament; the other is Iowa State star Bridget Carleton, who also advanced to the second round with a win against New Mexico State.

Before that game, Carleton spoke to reporters to tout the growth of the women’s game here in Canada, also giving a little shout out to Nurse and TSN.
