The Vancouver Canucks are riding a two-game winning streak and have won three of their last four games as they prepare for their tilt with the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday night.

With a couple of days off before their next game, members of the Canucks used their day off on Monday to spend time with patients and their families at the BC Children’s Hospital.

The day consisted of all sorts of activities from video games and card games to table tennis and air hockey, and there were plenty of smiles lighting up the hospital because of the Canucks’ visit.

Everyone on the Canucks’ active roster made the trip on Monday afternoon and it’s a day any of the players, the patients and their families won’t forget anytime soon.

It’s always awesome when athletes and franchises uses their platform to help bring joy into people’s lives.
