Carey Price got off to a rough start to the season, but lately he’s turned it on nicely. As a result, Montreal is having a better season than many predicted.

Saying that, his struggles didn’t raise too much of a red flag. Everyone knows he’s one of the best goaltenders in the game, and his skill was sure to come back around sooner or later.

One part of Price’s game that makes him so elite is his ability to handle the puck. Similar to what Martin Brodeur used to do, Price sometimes acts as a 3rd defenceman and helps to eliminate dump-and-chase strategies from the opposing team.

He’s basically a player, right? Well, maybe not, but he seemed like it when he took part in player’s skill competitions including the accuracy challenge and breakaway challenges.
