Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price is using this unprecedented time wisely.

The NHL and NHLPA hope to drop the puck in January, but with one month away, teams around the league are still waiting on a set date for when the hockey season will begin. With the start date still up in the air, Price has shifted his focus to other things. The Habs star goaltender and his wife Angela are doing their part to help those in need this holiday season.

Price shared to his Instagram with over 240,000 followers, a photo of him and his wife wearing t-shirts, that can help bring a better Christmas to those in need. $7 from each shirt purchased will be donated to the local Toys for Tots organization in the Tri-City area.

The Habs star goaltender was a member of the Tri-City Americans for four seasons from 2003 to 2007. The Canadiens scouted him from the Americans prior to drafting him 5th overall in 2005.

Way to lead by example on and off the ice, Price!
