Marriage proposals at sporting events have grown in popularity over the past few years and it’s a trend that most likely won’t be going away anytime soon. From the amateur level to the professional level, we’ve seen all sorts of marriage proposals happen through different sports around the world but none have been like the one we most recently came across.
In a recent hockey game in Switzerland, a pre-game ceremonial faceoff quickly turned into a surprise marriage proposal involving one of the players and the woman involved in the puck drop.
Just when we thought we’ve seen it all when it comes to sports related marriage proposals we come across this one and realize the list is still growing.
One of the most ultimate hockey related marriage proposals we’ve ever seen, though, came from Nashville where a Predators fan got some help from Viktor Arvidsson to propose to his girlfriend.
Proposing in front of a large crowd of people is always a risky choice just in case you don’t get the answer you’re looking for, but when all goes well it makes for a fantastic moment.
