Thursday was a big day for a lot of CFL fans as CFL commissioner Randy Ambrosie announced that Saskatchewan will host the 2020 Grey Cup, followed by Hamilton in 2021.

The city of Regina was first awarded the Grey Cup in 1995 and has held the big game three times since then with the most recent one being the 101st Grey Cup in 2013. As for Hamilton, they first hosted the Grey Cup back in 1910 and have hosted it a total of 10 times, but havenโ€™t hosted a Grey Cup since 1996 so Thursdayโ€™s announcement was a massive one for them.

In case youโ€™re wondering just how big the announcement is for the city of Hamilton, hereโ€™s a message from team owner Bob Young.

Since it is the Canadian Football League, a couple of teams around the league congratulated the future hosts on the recent announcement.

As for the 2019 Grey Cup, that will take place in Calgary.
