It wasn’t the season opener the Toronto Raptors wanted, who lost to the Washington Wizards in a game that they never really stood a chance. They made a little charge in the 4th quarter to bring the score to within 10 and momentum to boot, but in the end the Wizards were able to dispose of the Raps in front of the Scotiabank Arena crowd.
While it wasn’t what Raps fans wanted to see, at least they had a new way to see it!
TSN has introduced the TSN 5G View for hockey broadcasts in the past, but Wednesday’s season opener marked the first Raptors game in which fans could control exclusive cameras to get right into the action. Pretty cool! Hopefully next time the 5G cameras will be picking up the Raps celebrating a victory, but for now we’ll enjoy what we got!
