Chloe Kim has not only mastered snowboarding at the age of 17, she's also mastered the art of tweeting.

Heading into the 2018 Winter Olympics, American snowboarder Chloe Kim was touted to be a superstar in the making as well as the future of the sport. Kim managed to not only meet those expectations, but surpass them as well by dominating in the women's halfpipe event to land gold, becoming the youngest woman to do so in any snowboarding event.

It wasn't just Kim's snowboarding skills that were turning heads online, as she also managed to share a few mid-competition tweets that had everyone laughing. In an attempt to settle her nerves, Kim shared a string of tweets on Sunday that seemed to feature a total non-sequitur.

Both ice cream and churros are delicious, but we couldn't imagine thinking about that before competing in an Olympic event. Monday, Kim was at it again, tweeting about being "hangry" in between her two final runs.

Kim went on to to use that hanger in her favour, posting a 98.25, which was nearly ten points higher than the rider who came in second place. And just like that, a star was born. One that loves churros.
