The Houston Rockets made a big move this past offseason when they acquired nine-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul from the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for Patrick Beverly, Lou Williams, Sam Dekker, Montrezl Harrell, Darrun Hilliard, DeAndre Liggins, Kyle Wiltjer and a future first round draft pick.

The trade has worked out perfectly for the Rockets as they sit atop the NBA standings with a 47-13 record and are currently riding a 13-game winning streak, with their most recent victory coming on the road against the Utah Jazz on Monday night.

The Jazz took five-point lead into halftime and owned a 15-point lead at one point in the game, but the Rockets battled back and outscored the home team 57-41 in the second half to seal the victory. Pretty pumped up about the second half comeback by his team, CP3 celebrated the win in the dying seconds of the game by giving James Harden’s mom a high-five on the sidelines.

Since Harden’s mom was standing out of bounds the referee booked CP3 with a turnover on the play, but it didn’t matter since the Rockets owned an 11-point lead with 10.4 seconds left on the clock at the time. The 32-year-old doesn’t give the ball away very much, but he didn’t seem to mind getting hit with the turnover on the play since his team was walking away victorious.

Paul dropped a game-high seven assists in the Rockets’ victory to go along with 15 points, six rebounds and three steals.

That’s not fair, @cp3 🤣
