It’s pandemonium in Toronto on Saturday, and for good reason. The Toronto Raptors are just one win away from a NBA Finals berth for the first time in Raptors history. They got here by winning a couple clutch home games and then one on the road.
Charles Barkley was along for every step of the way.
Chuck has never been shy of showing his love for Toronto. He went viral ahead of Games 3 and 4, guaranteeing a Raps win for both. It hyped up Jurassic Park, and the Raps delivered the W’s as well. In Game 5, he was met with a little more backlash, guaranteeing the Bucks win in exuberant fashion in from of the home crowd, similar to the way he did it in Toronto.
So was he just hyping up the crowd? Or was he being real with his predictions? With the basketball world watching, he made his prediction for Game 6 – and it was much less assured than his previous predictions.
After predicting that the Bucks would make the NBA Finals, he reverted and predicted that the Raps would win Game 6, therefore eliminating his first prediction from possibility. He didn’t sound quite so sure of himself either, not after this!
We’ll see if he can move his prediction tally to ¾ with a Raps win, otherwise he’s down to 50% with one more game to go in the series.
