The Cleveland Monsters are currently taking part in their first AHL season. Formerly known as the Lake Erie Monsters, the Columbus Blue Jackets’ AHL affiliate haven’t been as successful as the Jackets so far this season, but find themselves in the middle of the pack after 41 games.

A few nights ago, the team did something very creative for their game against the Chicago Wolves. Last Saturday, the team held their official “Cleveland Indians Tribute Night” and they had some incredible uniforms created for their game.

Yeah our #TribeTribute night jerseys are 🔥. #repost @mullet_bros

They didn’t just give their jerseys the Cleveland Indians theme, they also made sure their pants went with the outfit as well.

They also had their logo altered to be more like the baseball team’s logo.

You can’t pay tribute to the baseball team without having members of the organization on hand for their special night. Pitchers Andrew Miller, Dan Otero, Mike Clevinger and Perci Garner were in attendance for the ceremonial faceoff.

This is definitely one of the cooler promotions we have seen a team do, because we love when teams incorporate other teams into their uniforms or logo.
