Connor McDavid shared a heartfelt tweet following the passing of Edmonton sports legend Joey Moss

On Monday, Edmonton sports legend Joey Moss passed away.

Janet & I are saddened to learn about the passing of Joey Moss. Not only was Joey a fixture in the Edmonton dressing room, he was someone I truly considered a friend. Joey has a strong connection to the city of Edmonton, specifically with the Oilers and Edmonton Football Team, and has seen generations of great players, from Wayne Gretzky to Connor McDavid.

Following Joey's passing, McDavid took to Twitter to share a heartfelt message.
