This Stanley Cup Final is shaping up to be one for the ages. Not only does it include an expansion team in the Vegas Golden Knights, but on the other side of the puck is Washington Capitals’ legend Alex Ovechkin – who is one of the greatest players of all-time to not own a Stanley Cup ring.

On top of all that, the series has been chalked full with extravagance (as you would expect from a seven-game showdown including extravagance experts in Vegas). With game two featuring a performance from super band Imagine Dragons ahead of puck drop, the Washington Capitals are now countering with their own musical performance ahead of Game 3 – Award winning musicians Sting and Shaggy who have recently teamed up to continue making music with each other on a new album titled “44/876”. They will be performing on the steps of the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery, rain or shine, and attendance is free.

Yup, it doesn’t end there. Fall Out Boy is slated to take the stage ahead of Game 4. At this rate, let’s just hope this iconic playoff series goes deep – we could all use a little more extravagance in our lives.
