Couple of ECHL players can't wait for the game to start and drop the gloves during warm-ups

The Newfoundland Growlers joined the ECHL this season and they’ve already got some rivals. If there’s one team the Growlers always tend to get a little more physical with whenever the two teams meet it’s the Brampton Beast.

This past weekend the two clubs went head-to-head in a two-game mini-series at the CAA Centre in Brampton and they combined for 36 penalty minutes over the two games, but the most aggressive stuff came after the pre-game warm-ups before the game even got underway.

Once the pre-game skate wrapped up, Brampton’s Mike Folkes and Newfoundland captain James Melindy let some bad blood carry over and they couldn’t wait for the game to start to take care of business.
 

We’re guessing the league is going to have something to say about this bout.
