In hockey terms, NHL goaltender Curtis McElhinney is the definition of a suitcase.

The guy has been around the league more than most, having already played for seven different teams since being drafted 176th overall by the Calgary Flames. The 35-year-old hasn’t played more than 32 games in a single season but at this stage of his career, he feels comfortable enough to laugh that off.

At least that’s what his Twitter bio implies.

Pretty accurate!!!!

In his 11-year career, the London, Ontario native has played in just two playoff games. With all of this said, we’ve gotta give the guy some credit for allowing just one goal on 32 shots in his debut with the Carolina Hurricanes this season.

With some solid play and Carolina’s crease situation up for grabs at the moment, McEhlehinney could finally find himself a nice home with one team for the foreseeable future. If not, we’re sure he’d have no problem packing his bags and rocking new colours.
