If you’ve ever perused the NBA record books, then you’ll know that Wilt Chamberlain made a habit of dominating box scores back in his day. Many of his records (like that 100-point game!) are considered untouchable in the modern game, with more talent in general.

So, Damian Lillard is joining some pretty rarefied territory here. He tied his career-high with 61 points against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, and that’s just a game after dropping 51 in his last. In all, that makes three 60-point games on the season for Dame, which makes him only the second player to accomplish that after Wilt.

With the Portland Trail Blazers locked in a dead heat for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, they really needed this performance from Dame, and he has a habit of delivering when needed.

How many guys have more respect around the league than Dame does?
