Look out, basketball analysts, Danny Green could be coming for your job one day.

The Toronto Raptors shooting guard took a turn of jumping on the other side of the microphone during over the weekend at the NBA All-Star festivities in Charlotte.

On Friday, Green, a graduate of the NBAPA's Sportscaster U broadcasting program, tried his hand as a celebrity colour commentator during the Rising Stars Game. But Green wasn't done there. On Saturday, he took over for TSN's Kate Beirness as a reporter by speaking with some of the biggest stars in the game.

When basketball is no longer an occupation, we could see Green entering the broadcasting world.

Green took the broadcasting program in partnership with Syracuse University. The three-day course aims at training players who have an interest in working in the field.

"It's definitely a strong option that I'll be looking into doing or would like to do when I'm done playing," he said to MySanAntonio.com.

"Trying to stay away from coaching. It's very stressful."

Green currently has a podcast, 'Inside the Green Room with Danny Green' in conjunction with Yahoo Sports Canada that shows off the outgoing personality of the "Green Ranger.'
