Good guy David Pastrnak!

After winning the All-Star Game MVP last season, Pastrnak was awarded a 2021 Honda CRV through a corporate partnership, and he has decided to pay it forward to one of the frontline workers doing the hard work during the pandemic.

Pastrnak has donated the vehicle to a frontline nurse named Kaitlin Hagstrom in Boston, with the Bruins’ mascot Blades personally making the drop-off.

According to the team's release, Pastrna wanted to give the vehicle to show his gratitude towards frontine workers. Hagstrom, who has provided emergency care for COVID-19 patients, was identified by her colleagues as “someone who has calmly and consistently risen to the occasion and is a steadfast beacon of hope that reassures not only her patients but also her peers.”

It’s great to see Pastrnak show his appreciation towards frontline workers, as so many other athletes also have, and as the season gets underway, we’re sure that hockey players will continue to give back to their communities during this time.
