There are certain things that you see a ton of in beer league sports that you really don't expect to see at the professional level. One of those things is the Machiavellian tactic of yelling "got it" at opposing players in an effort to confuse them.

Saturday, Watford took on AFC Bournemouth in the second week of English Premier League action. During the first half, Watford midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah found himself in prime position for a goal inside Bournemouth's 18-yard box. The pass came in, but Chalobah decided to watch the ball go by and onto the feet of a defender. Why? Because Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter yelled leave it in an effort to falsely pose as Chalobah's teammate.

As funny as it is to watch, what Arter did is actually a foul and should have led to a yellow card and an indirect free-kick for unsportsmanlike conduct.  Watford went on to beat the Cherries 2-0 anyways, so in the end it didn't really matter. But it was still a little bit classless.

Just think about how everyone reacted to Alex Rodriguez when he yelled "got it" on a pop-up while running the basepath against the Blue Jays back in 2007.

The major takeaway here is that while it's slightly amusing to pull this trick on opponents, it's also super lame.
