Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez is used to unleashing terror in the octagon when he steps in to face another fighter. On Friday night, the long-time UFC fighter did just the opposite.

Isaac Marquez, a 32-year old UFC superfan that suffers from Down syndrome, was visiting the Jackson Wink Academy to watch some of his heroes train. One of those heroes was Welterweight/Lightweight veteran Sanchez. Sanchez is one of the organizations most exciting fighters, being called the best third-round fighter in the UFC by Joe Rogan, and also being one half of multiple fight-of-the-year bouts. When the two met they instantly kicked off an awesome friendship.

On Friday, Marquez got to take part in his dream by fighting Sanchez in a “title fight”, where he would go on to defeat the UFC star by way of an arm bar.

Maybe they’ll have to change Sanchez’ nickname to “Dreams” after this.
