When you win a Heisman Trophy at your alma matter and knock off the defending national champions by throwing a last-second Hail Mary pass like Doug Flutie did for the Boston College Eagles, you essentially became an Eagle for lifetime.

The former Toronto Argonauts quarterback joined the Eagles and Red Sox down in Fort Myers, Fla., to take in some batting practice prior to the second half of the split-squad doubleheader.

Not bad, Dougie, not bad at all. It looks like Flutie may’ve enrolled in some softball leagues over the years based on that shot he hit into left field. He's not afraid to lay a bunt down, either. According to this ESPN article, Flutie is quite the baseball player, and comprised a team full of college kids that compete in the one of the better adult baseball leagues.

The Bo Sox managed to pull out a 4-2 victory over Flutie’s old team at the JetBlue Park Fenway South Stadium, and are a perfect 27-0 all-time versus BC.
