Drake Batherson is enjoying a breakout season, as he’s currently clocking in at more than a point-per-game pace. The 23-year-old is up to 9 goals and 28 points in just 24 days, so it’s safe to say that Batherson has arrived.
While the former 4th round pick has been thoroughly entertaining through his on-ice play, he flashed a different side of entertainment during practice recently. Strapped up with a microphone for Sens practice, Batherson was a content machine.
Usually mic’d up highlight clips are less than one minute long. Batherson delivered three minutes, and there isn’t a single dull moment.
Can we get a microphone on this guy permanently? We don’t even need play-by-play commentators anymore, to be honest. We’ll just use Bathy for all our commentary needs.
