Tonight was a major victory for all baseball fans who have been following Drew Robinson’s incredible journey.

Back in 2020, Robinson had lost his right eye to a suicide attempt and tonight he hit his first home run since his return to baseball while playing for the San Francisco Triple-A affiliate, Sacramento River Cats.

In the top of the second inning, Robinson hit a bomb into right field and straight into the bullpen to give the River Cats the 4-1 lead over the Las Vegas Aviators, Robinson’s hometown team.

Just last week it was announced that Robinson had made the River Cats opening day roster, and since then he has had two hits, both against the Aviators.

Robinson’s comeback story is one that we’re endlessly amazed by and will continue to root for!

Keep on dominating Drew, we’re all in your corner!
