Matt Duchene was the subject of a harsh comment made by Michael Bublé on Sunday, but it looks like he’s not taking it too much to heart.

The 28-year-old was put on full blast by the world renown singer during a concert at the Schottenstein Center and he wasn’t the only one either. Duchene, Artemi Panarin and Sergei Bobrovsky were all called “idiots for leaving” after Columbus’ miraculous first round sweep over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Duchene took it all in stride, however, and suggested that maybe it’s time for his family to find a new Christmas album come December.

#nohardfeelings.

Matt, we all know you’re going to cave as the months lead up to December 25. How could you not listen to this man’s beautiful voice over the holidays?!?!?!?!

Duchene officially joined the Nashville Predators on July 1st after signing a seven-year, $56 million contract. After getting shipped to Columbus at the trade deadline, the Haliburton, Ontario native posted 4 goals and 8 assists in 23 regular season games before heating up in the postseason with 5 and 5 through 10. Speaking of musicians… we think Duchene is going to fit in quite nicely in his new home.

For the record, Bublé is a well-known Canucks fan. We get his comment was made to fire up the crowd but hey, Nashville doesn’t seem like all that bad of a place to live.
