The NHL Playoffs are an absolute battle and several Anaheim Ducks players proved that by revealing their injuries in their season-ending media sessions.

Earlier in the playoffs, we heard that Joe Thornton played through a torn ACL and MCL and Erik Karlsson is currently playing through a fractured heel. Most people wait until when their season is over to reveal their injuries and the Ducks definitely did that.

The Ducks and local reporters tweeted out a series of injuries that must have been brutal to play through.

The Ducks didn’t specify the shoulder injury that forced them to get surgery, but Curtis Zupke, a reporter for the Los Angeles Times reported that it was torn labrums.

It will be interesting to see what the players on Nashville, Ottawa and Pittsburgh have played through as they end their seasons in the next couple of weeks.

Right now, Thornton is still the winner for most ridiculous injury played through in the 2017 playoffs.
