Minor League Baseball teams are the best in the business when it comes to thinking outside the box for their promotional theme nights throughout the season. One of our favourites happens to be when teams show love to the other teams they share the city with and rock some sort of jersey inspired by their neighbor’s threads.

Next week the Tampa Bay Rays’ Triple-A affiliate, the Durham Bulls, will show some love to the team that plays 20 minutes down the road from them as they’ll be hosting a Bunch of Jerks Night when they open their three-game series with the Gwinnett Stripers next Friday night.

The Bulls will take to the field in special Hurricanes-themed black and red uniforms, modeled after the Canes’ alternate black uniforms, and they’ll have a cap to match.

All of the game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off throughout the night with proceeds going towards the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation.
