On Friday night, Dwight Howard debuted for his fifth NBA team as a member of the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets knocked off the Atlanta Hawks – Howard’s previous team – with a 109-101 win. The 31-year-old finished the night with 20 points and 15 boards in the debut.

Howard checked out with 2:10 left to a standing ovation. While his first impression in front of the Charlotte was a memorable one, Howard’s debut will likely be remembered for when he gave referee Eric Lewis a big kiss on the forehead after Lewis gave Howard his fifth foul.

That’s one way to react to a foul call. At least he was civl with the ref.
