The Toronto Raptors are off to their best start in franchise history as they head into Wednesday night’s game against the Miami Heat owning an NBA-best 25-10 record, but they still managed to find themselves with a day off on Christmas as they were excluded from this year’s holiday schedule.

A majority of Raptors fans were pretty annoyed about their team getting snubbed, especially since it’s just the second time in 10 years that the team holding sole possession of first place didn’t play on Christmas, and even future Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade thinks the Raptors deserved a game.

Getting to spend the day with your family on Christmas is obviously a blessing, and we’re sure the players aren’t that upset about not getting a game, but the NBA shines on Christmas and it’s become a day most players would love to play on.
