Monday, September 7, 2020, marks the 9th anniversary of the tragic plane crash that took the lives of every member of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl hockey team.
As a way to honour the lives that were lost that day, Dynamo and Spartak held a moment of silence for the team before the game.
The Dynamo staff also reserved seats in the crowd in remembrance of the staff members and players on the team.
Every team playing on Monday also added special patches to their jerseys for the day in honour of the team.
