It doesn’t matter what sport you’re a fan of, there’s always those certain players in the league who seem like they’re on a new team every two years.

The guys on this list had all different types of careers. Some of them were leaders on their team, while others were role players. But if there’s one thing they all have in common, it’s the fact they suited up for 10 or more NHL teams during their career.

Until this season, Lee Stempniak was the only remaining active player on this list. If you’re old enough to remember watching hockey 20 years ago, you’re most likely going to say you remember Stempniak as a member of the St. Louis Blues or the Toronto Maple Leafs. But if that’s before your time, you most likely remember Stempniak as a short-term rental player. Over the course of his career he played with 10 different teams, and played 100 or more games with five of them.

Mathieu Schneider played the most games out of anyone on this list, totalling 1,289 games over 21 years. Out of the 10 teams that Schneider played for, his longest stint was in Montreal where he played eight years. Like Stempniak, Schneider suited up for 100 or more games with five of the 10 teams he played for.

Jim Dowd played the fewest amount of games out of anyone on this list, as he suited up for just 728 games over 16 years, but he still managed to suit up for 10 different teams over his career. Dowd’s longest stint came with the New Jersey Devils, where he spent six seasons, while his shortest stint came with the New York Islanders, where he played just three games.

Dominic Moore played the first 87 games of his NHL career with the New York Rangers before he was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, but thanks to a second stint with the team later on his career he ended up playing 322 games with the Rangers over five years. By the time his career was all said and done, Moore suited up for 10 different teams over 13 years.

Olli Jokinen played the second-most games out of the players on this list, but he finished with the most points. Jokinen played seven of his 17 NHL seasons with the Florida Panthers, but thanks to his final year in the league he managed to crack this list. In 2014-15, the 3rd overall pick in 1997 played 48 games with the Nashville Predators, eight games with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and six games with the St. Louis Blues, to make it a total of 10 teams over the course of his career.

J.J. Daigneault made his NHL debut in 1984 and played his final game during the 2000-01 season. In fact, if it weren’t for the one game he played with the Minnesota Wild that final year, he wouldn’t have made this list. Daigneault spent seven of his 16 NHL seasons with the Montreal Canadiens, and went on to play 899 career games.

Michel Petit might be the least familiar name on this list, just because he last played in the NHL in 1997-98, but his opponents sure did know his name. In 827 games over 16 years, Petit totalled 1,839 penalty minutes, and recorded 100 or more penalty minutes with seven of the 10 teams he played for.

Mike Sillinger has played for more teams than anyone else in NHL history, and he also holds the record for being the most traded player in NHL history. Sillinger played 1,049 games over 17 seasons, but was traded nine times and suited up for 12 different teams.

The best part about these guys is that every fan you ask probably remembers them in a different jersey from the next person you ask.
