Vancouver Canucks fans knew they had something special in Elias Pettersson before he made his NHL debut, and the 21-year-old has done nothing but exceed expectations through his first 95 NHL games.

The Canucks’ lengthy road trip continued with a stop in Philadelphia on Monday night and there were plenty of Canucks fans in attendance. During warm-ups, Pettersson ended up wiring a shot off the crossbar that deflected into the stands and hit one of the Canucks fans.

Fortunately, no one was hurt but that didn’t stop the Canucks’ star from making things right with the woman who ended up on the wrong side of the deflection.

After realizing what happened, Pettersson didn’t waste any time signing a hat for the fan and even left her a personalized message on the hat, as well.

Even though she got hit by a puck at least she ended up with the puck and an autograph from Pettersson.
