Nick Foligno is heading to Boston and his departure will bring with it an end to one of the team’s best traditions.
We’re talkin’ hugs, people.
The long-time captain had his fair share of good ones with goaltender Elvis Merzlikins and now, we guess he’s just going to have to have them with new Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark? Or maybe he shouldn’t? It might make Elvis a little upset, at least that’s what he mentioned in a tweet. All love between these two former teammates.
Can always count on Elvis for a good laugh! To give you an idea of just how solid these hugs were… no one did it better.
Foligno is headed to Boston on a two-year, $7.6 million contract. His leadership, and hugs (more importantly) will both be missed in Ohio.
