It’s been true for a while that Russell Wilson’s pass protection with the Seattle Seahawks has been suspect, leading the quarterback to express frustrations with the offensive line recently.

We don’t think he’s going to be too pleased by the latest news out of the NFC West. J.J. Watt is joining the Arizona Cardinals, where he’ll form one of the top defensive cores in the NFL with another elite pass-rusher in Chandler Jones.

Get this: Watt, Jones, Aaron Donald, Nick Bosa and more all play in the same division as Wilson and the Seahawks, meaning we can safely expect some ferocious pass-rushing out of the NFC West this season.

Everyone’s first reaction upon the J.J. Watt news, of course, was to poke some fun at Wilson and his O-line. Until the Seahawks are able to make improvements there, fans might be able to make these jokes for a while going forward.
