If you're a hockey coach and aren't happy with a call in-game, why not just dial up a league’s supervisor right in the heat of the moment to let your voice be heard?

As outlandish as that sounds, that exactly what a coach did over in the Austrian League during Game 3 of a playoff series between the Vienna Capitals and HC Orli Znojmo.

The Capitals won the game 5-2 to give them a 2-1 series led, but not without a little controversy.  A rough affair turned nasty when a player was kicked out of the game after delivering an open-ice hit. The result? Former Toronto Maple Leaf and current coach of HC Orli Znojmo Miroslav Frycer called up the league supervisor as he was standing on the bench.

Via Google Translate:

"Before the game was a supervisor here and said to me, I can call him anytime, if something does not suit me, said the coach, as per SportReport.biz

" And at that moment, that did not suit me at all and that's why I tried to reach him. I know he was there, but apparently, he just talks nice and when it comes to something, he is not reachable. He just did not lift off. "

If the supervisor is going to offer up their phone number, then why not utilize it to let it be known that you don't agree with how the game is being officiated, right?
