For those sports fans that have never watched kickboxing, trust us when we say it's just as vicious as boxing and MMA.

Much like boxing and MMA, if you're in the ring, you have to protect yourself at all times because if you don't, it could be extremely costly.
Harut Grigorian found that out Saturday at Glory 42 Kickboxing Championship against his opponent Murthel Groenhart.

During the fight, Groenhart hit Grigorian with a knee to the face.  Grigorian then turned his back on Groenhart mid-round and that proved to be the wrong decision as Groenhart viciously knocked him out for the win.

What ensued after the massive KO, though, was even more noteworthy as a fan from the crowd stormed the ring and swung at Groenhart.

The fan that came into the ring to attack Groenhart got him with a pretty solid right hand that apparently broke his jaw.

The knockout was a shocking and controversial one to say the least as some thought it was a cheap shot by Groenhart.

Others, however, noted that the round had not ended and the ref didn't stop the bout after Grigorian was kneed in the face, so Groenhart just took advantage of the opportunity.

At the end of the day, the two fighters appeared to talk it out and there didn't seem to be any hard feelings, just mutual respect.
