Just when you thought that the spectators who yell stupid things when golfers tee-off during tournaments couldn't get any more absurd, this guy comes along.

Sunday, following a drive from Brooks Koepka on the 8th hole at the U.S. Open a fan took the opportunity to fill the sound of silence with a bizarre catchphrase that you've likely never heard on a golf course before: "Say hello to your mother for me."

What does it mean? Honestly, nothing. Are we probably going to hear it a bunch more in the future? Unfortunately, yes. Probably would have made more sense to say something father related on Sunday, no?
