Hockey fans seem to be in one of two camps when it comes to the topic of whether or not people should bang on the glass at games. Some are all for it, believing that it adds to the overall atmosphere. While others believe that it's simply obnoxious.

The thing is, not only can it be obnoxious, it can sometimes be hazardous, too. Take for example this overly enthusiastic Predators fan who accidentally elbowed his son in the face while banging on the glass.

Thursday, that same fan was back, and it seems as if he (sort of) learned his lesson.

That's gotta be the most "dad" way of fixing something. Clever, but entirely convoluted. You could have your kid wear a hockey helmet to the game, as they probably like wearing their gear anyways. Or, you could just, y'know, clap instead of banging on the glass.

Technically both solutions work. One's just a whole lot more pragmatic.
