The Toronto Raptors have been enjoying a nice NBA Playoffs so far. They are currently locked in a battle with the Milwaukee Bucks for the Eastern Conference crown, and they’ve done so with their #1 celebrity cheerleader Drake sitting courtside for most home games.

The only issue is, there’s been notable backlash about Drake supporting teams. Some teams don’t even want it. That’s all thanks to what has become known as the “Drake Curse”.

Essentially, a lot of teams or individuals that Drake shows support to seem to lose their game or competition. It’s even happened for some of the “safer” bets.

Drake, notably, hasn’t been rocking Raptors gear while at their games. In fact, after Game 7 vs. the Philadelphia 76ers, Drake shared a video of him rocking Sixers gear after their loss. That’s why fans aren’t too happy about Raptor GM Masai Ujiri’s latest gift to Drake:

It's not a jersey, which seems to matter to some, but it is still clearly Raptors branded. While he doesn’t appear to be wearing it courtside, some fans think that the writing is now on the wall for the Raps.
