How things ended in San Antonio between Kawhi and the Spurs wasn't pretty and even though he helped the Spurs win a championship (and won Finals MVP that year), that might not make up for what transpired this season in the minds of fans and the Spurs franchise.

In fact, fans are convinced the Spurs sent a parting shot Kawhi's way with their farewell tweet to him.

It might not look like much now, but compare it to the farewell tweet Danny Green got and it turns into something.

There are very obvious differences in the two pictures that were tweeted out by the Spurs and fans couldn't help but think this was a way of burning Leonard on his way out.

In San Antonio's defence, Green has only played for one other team in his career and that was during his rookie season.  He didn't want to leave, but based on his Instagram post, it seems like he's excited for the next chapter of his career.
