What a week it’s been in the MLB.

We’re in the offseason but baseball (particularly the Houston Astros) has still been managing to dominate sports headlines after getting caught for stealing signs over the past few seasons. On Thursday, allegations were made against the club that claimed players wore buzzers under their uniforms to inform them which pitches were coming. The MLB found “no evidence” of wearable devices during its investigation, but a video from the ALCS is making fans think otherwise.

Remember that walk-off home run Jose Altuve cranked to send the Astors to the World Series? and how he didn’t let his teammates rip off his jersey? Altuve and his agent Scott Boras both claimed he remained clothed because he’s “shy”, but fans aren’t buying it. The 29-year-old got called out by A TON of disgruntled baseball die-hards online.

And that's not even close to all of the tweets about it!

The league has so far come down hard on the Astors, suspending manager A.J. Hinch and general manager Jeff Luhnow for a year. The Astros consequently fired the duo for their role. Houston was also fined $5 million and stripped of their 2020 and 2021 1st and 2nd round draft picks.

Things aren’t looking too good for the ‘Stros right about now.
