It's been an incredible sports year for the city of Philadelphia so far and the Flyers have a chance to make it even better if they can win the Stanley Cup.

The Flyers' journey to the Cup got off to an incredibly bad start, though, as they lost Game 1 of their series against the Penguins 7-0.  Brian Elliott allowed five goals on 19 shots in the loss before getting pulled, but it looks like his coach Dave Hakstol will be going back to him in Game 2.

Based on Elliott's outing in Game 1, Flyers fans were obviously extremely critical of Hakstol's "gut instinct" on starting the 33-year-old in Game 2.

In Elliott's defence, you can't blame that loss on him and he had actually won six of his last seven starts entering Game 1.

At the same time, you can't blame fans for disagreeing with Hakstol's first instinct after watching what happened in the series opener.  Safe to say this is going to be one of the most interesting storylines to watch as the series continues.
