Fantasy football adds an element to the game of football that cannot be matched. While fans still enjoy watching the sport for the sake of watching the sport, and rooting for your team still carries the same amount of pride, fantasy football adds a personal touch to a fans experience.

That’s why sometimes a week of football can bring pure elation, while others bring sadness. Others bring a kind of frustration that can only be felt through your guys not performing. That’s a feeling all owners can relate to.

Alfred Morris was likely the source of frustration for a lot of owners. Not only did he post a huge zero on the scoreboard, but he did so on a Monday night as a player in the last game of the week. In other words, he was a lot of people’s last chance.

One of those fantasy owners was fantasy football analyst Matthew Berry, who had a particularly frustrating situation. Instead of putting his head down and grumbling “I’ll get ‘em next week”, Berry took to the microphones to broadcast just how annoyed he was.

Quite a rant, but can you blame him? It’s a feeling that fantasy owners know all too well (this particular staff writer came within one point of losing the week because Chiefs’ kicker Harrison Butker posted 18 points on Sunday Night).

To make matters more frustrating for Berry, Morris actually did do the necessary work to get him the win (an eight-yard run for the 1st down), but it was called back on a hold.

Ouch.
