During the summer of 2019, a Georgia woman named Bella Martina went viral on TikTok for one simple reason; she was a total doppelganger of former Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence. As Lawrence continued to gain fame for his dominance under centre in college, Bella continued to become more and more recognizable as well.
On Thursday, Lawrence’s football career took the next step when he was drafted 1st overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The highly-touted prospect was essentially the unanimous choice among anyone that knows football, and Jacksonville got ready to welcome their newest sports superstar.
First, they had to welcome Bella!
Martina took to the streets of Jacksonville to see if she could catch a few double takes from Jaguars fans. It didn’t take long, and she even went as far as to take a picture with a fan that thought she would be taking the field at TIAA Bank Field.
For the most part, Jacksonville folk seemed to be able to figure out that she wasn’t the real deal. It definitely got a few lengthy stares, though!
