We subscribe to the theory that everything looks funnier in goalie equipment, and that includes riding on an escalator. Saturday, Finland took on Slovakia in their third game of the preliminary round at the World Juniors in Buffalo. Thus far, Finland has performed well at the World Juniors, having won two of their first three games. It's a far cry from Finland's performance last year where they finished at the bottom of Group A following three losses.

Although they've been able to escape last year's nightmarish outing, one thing has followed them into the tournament this year. The location of their locker.

Since Finland entered the tournament as one of the  lowest ranked teams, their locker room isn't actually located at the KeyBank Center, it's at the Harbor Center, an arena that's attached to the main building. That means that every time they need to take to the main ice for warm-ups and practice, they have to walk all the way to the KeyBank Center, which led to this funny visual of Finnish goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen traveling on an escalator.

That's got to be extra incentive for any goalie whose team is hovering near the relegation zone. Keep a shutout or that might be you walking a far distance to the ice in 2019.
