Everyone loves a good goalie goal so it’s a good thing we’re starting to see an increase in the amount that take place each year.

From the AHL to the English Ice Hockey League, we’ve seen goalies all over the world find the back of the net in many different ways. On Wednesday night, we were able to add Mestis, Finland’s second-highest ice hockey league, to that list courtesy of 21-year-old Karolus Kaarlehto.

With just over 10 seconds left on the clock, the puck rolled right onto the Kaarina, Finland native’s stick so he decided to take a shot at the empty net and made no mistake with his attempt.

A goal and a 28-save victory is a pretty impressive statline to leave the office with.
